About

What this site does

ProjectTallyKit turns measurements into the quantities you buy: cubic yards of concrete or soil, bags, drywall sheets and pavers. You type in your dimensions and the number appears straight away. Calculations run in your browser, and each calculator shows its formula, its assumptions and a worked example, so you can check the result yourself before you order.

Why it exists

Most material calculators give you a number and nothing else. When the number looks wrong, or the yard orders more than it needs, there is no way to see why. We wanted calculators where every step is visible, every constant has a source and a date, and the result says plainly what it assumed.

What is here

Units are US customary by default, with a switch to metric. The tools are free and need no account.

What it is not

It is not engineering advice, a contractor bid or a substitute for local codes and product instructions. Treat every result as an estimate for planning a purchase, order a little extra, and check structural work with a qualified professional. Our terms say more.

How we work

The methodology page explains how the numbers are produced and where the constants come from. Our editorial policy covers sources, corrections and how we handle ads. If you find a mistake, please tell us.

Who is behind it

ProjectTallyKit is an independent project run by WebZoli Ltd., based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. You can reach us through the contact page.
