Estimates only
The calculators give estimates to help you plan a purchase. They are not engineering advice, architectural advice, a contractor bid or a guarantee of how much material a job will use. Real jobs differ from the inputs you enter. Always check results against your supplier’s specifications and your local building codes, and use a qualified professional for structural, load-bearing, electrical or safety-related work. You are responsible for deciding how much to buy and for how you use the result.
No warranty
We work to make the calculators correct and show our sources, but the site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not promise that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Limit of liability

Changes and governing law
We may update these terms, and the date at the top shows when. Continued use after a change means you accept it. These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, and disputes will be brought in the courts of Toronto, Ontario, unless the law requires otherwise.
